1. how to connect vpn
2. where to paste config
3. password cannot be read
as a result the entire thread gets flooded by such silly comments...
so here's a basic tutorial only for newbies... and those who dont know how to manage and use key and cert files
1.download the openvpn or nmdvpn
open vpn
http://swupdate.openvpn.org/downloads/shield/openvpn-connect.msi
nmdvpn

2.install
3.now go to
for xp users
go to program files then openvpn(or nmdvpn) and then config
paste your config here
4.now run the openvpn(or nmdvpn) as administrator
note-right click to run as administrator
5.after that the openvpn(or nmdvpn) will minimise in window tray at bottom left corner
6.right click on that openvpn (or nmdvpn) in windows tray
7.select the server(config files u added) which u want
8.connect
9.done

Windows XP Swiss VPN PPTP Connection Setup on Windows XP
VPN Connection Setup : Step 1. Choose Start go to Settings; Network Connections; New Connection Wizard.
VPN Connection Setup : Step 2. Choose Connect to the network at my workplace and click Next
VPN Connection Setup : Step 3. Choose Virtual Private Network connection and click Next
VPN Connection Setup : Step 4. Enter a name for the VPN connection (e.g.SwissVPN) and click Next
VPN Connection Setup : Step 5. If you don't need to dial up to the Internet before you can connect to SwissVPN, choose Do not dial the initial connection Otherwise choose the connection to use. Click Next
VPN Connection Setup : Step 6. Enter & connect.swissvpn.net as the VPN server host name and click Next
VPN Connection Setup : Step 7. Check Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop if desired, then click Finish.
VPN Connection Setup : Step 8. Enter your SwissVPN user name and password (you've received these after completing your purchase, and you can also find them in your receipt e-mail) and click Connect
VPN Connection Setup : Step 9. You are now connected to SwissVPN! To verify that all your connections to the Internet pass through your secure SwissVPN connection, simply visit http://www.swissvpn.net and check the indicator. To disconnect, right-click the VPN connection symbol in the system tray and choose Disconnect
